halloween 2011 - the year of the panda

so if you've been friends with me on buzznet for the 3 years i've been a member, you'll know i was a panda i believe in 2008.  not a very good one though.  this year, i'm stepping up my game.  check out my panda outfit:

i orignally though i'd wear a plain white dress, with a black skirt and maybe a black shirt underneath...until i walked into hot topic and THEY HAD A PANDA DRESS.  complete with pockets that have little claws on them, so i HAD to buy it!!!!

i also bought fingerless gloves at hot topic, and then went into my mom's art studio and got some white felt and pink thread.  i googled panda paws, and figured out how to cut the felt and i sewed them onto the gloves!  i was super proud, because i CANNOT sew...but this looks like a 5 year old did it, which adds a bit of cuteness :)

my panda hat.  where to begin?! this was the first piece of the outfit.  i found it at a party supply store called Cappels.  and i literally have worn it about 10 times, including to the columbus zoo with my friend robert where he shot this photo of me on a tiger :)

tonight i got the idea that i'd paint pandas on my nails.  i googled panda nails, and of course there was a video on youtube!  i sort of followed it, and did my best!  

in addition to all of this, i have a panda necklace, and i bought panda stickers at comic con.  i believe i'm going to put one of the tiny panda stickers on my face, near my eye.  photos will be coming, don't worry!  i'm attending a video game convention this friday in columbus where i'm going to debut my panda costume.  then the 29th is a few of my friends halloween parties.  i haven't decided how many i'm going to yet, but i will DEFINITELY be a panda the entire night.  and i'll be the best damn panda ever :))))
